We are on the hunt for a Social Media rockstar to join our team, agency side. The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills that can flex to fit any platform, media, character count or audience, with the capacity to prioritise and work effectively across multiple projects. Most importantly they should have a passion for all things social keeping a finger on the pulse on all social trends.


You will work alongside a great team of like-minded integrated marketing and communications professionals to manage the online community communications for multiple brands as well as, plan and execute social media and content strategies.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Support 2-3 clients to identify their challenges and greatest opportunities, helping them to grow through use of various social media channels
  • Develop a social media implementation plan and playbook
  • Come up with channels and influencers recommendations
  • Share the latest trends and updates with clients on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate the day-to-day handling of all social media channels and ensuring the content is adapted to suit the different channels
  • Work with Acorn Strategy’s designers and copywriters to develop engaging copy, image and video content for client’s social media accounts
  • Work with the account lead to keep the account organised and running smoothly according to the contracted scope of work
  • Generate social content that will drive marketing and communications objectives
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such a Google Analytics and Sprout Social
  • Regular monitoring of competitor social media sites and creating analysis report

 

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

  • Explore new ways to connect with the community e.g. Q&As, polls, competitions etc
  • Monitor social channels and relevant news channels to spark meaningful conversation with the community
  • Have the ability to quickly pivot and react to a new trend, opportunity or crisis
  • Respond to comments and queries in a timely manner (per client SLA)
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Coordinate with the wider team to ensure brand consistency

 

PAID MEDIA  

  • Solid background in paid social media campaigns, FB, IG, TW, and LI ads manager
  • Managing and optimizing campaigns across channels and analyse data to accomplish data-driven decision
  • Perform adjustments on client campaigns in order to maximize performance and conversions
  • Create end of campaign reports that highlights campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, native channels, and sprout social
  • Create Forecast paid media plan          

     

     RELEVANT SOFT SKILLS / APTITUDE

    • Knowledge of social media analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics
    • Solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills (Arabic/English)
    • Must have at least one year of experience in managing social media communities for multiple brands, across multiple platforms and channels
    • Must have experience managing email marketing campaigns
    • Able to build a collaborative relationship with all internal team members and clients
    • Strong online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and current clients
    • Self-aware and open to a constructive ‘360’ feedback;
