JOB TITLE: Account Executive (Marketing and Communications)


BASED: UAE based 


REPORTING TO: Group Account Director


PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As a member of the account management team, you play a key role in liaising between the client and the agency. You are responsible for all details relating to the client relationship. You will handle multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment, ensuring account deliverables remain aligned to the client’s strategy, within timeframe, budget and service level agreement. You will be excited about all the challenges of this position, and you will ensure that the highest standards are maintained on all deliverables.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support assigned client accounts on a day-to-day basis as per account lead’s guidance, fully understanding the brief, in-depth nature and uniqueness of the client’s core business.
    • Support account lead by maintaining updated WIPs, action plans and following internal and external processes and ways of working
    • Work closely with the traffic manager and implementation team to ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Ensure the agency team is thoroughly briefed by articulating clients’ goals, target audience, and executive specifics. When necessary, reverse brief the client.  
    • Conduct meetings with the clients and inform them about the current work status of their projects and account deliverables.  
    • Attend internal and external meetings to note meeting minutes and communicate actionable items and timelines
    • Be the day-to-day point of contact on selected accounts and lead the conversation with the client
    • Support the development of campaign plans, monthly account calendars, and associated marketing, PR and digital activities.
    • Ensure that any marketing, PR and digital content is of a high quality, engaging, creative, innovative and aligned with scheduled or ad-hoc campaigns.
    • Build strong relationships and networks with clients and Acorn Strategy colleagues
    • Collate, analyse and evaluate reports on assigned clients’ accounts as directed by the account lead;
    • Be accountable for the account performance, ensuring contract is delivered to the highest standard whilst not exceeding scope of work or contracted hours.
    • Assist account lead by performing research on clients and trending topics.
    • Assist the strategy team with any market research related activities / tasks.
    • Identify and propose new opportunities to improve client delivery, either in areas PR, marketing, creative content creation or social media.

     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE:

    • BA/BS in a relevant field or advanced degree strongly preferred;
    • Able to build a collaborative relationship with all internal team members, third party stakeholders and clients;
    • Solid project and/or account management skills with an ability to simultaneously deliver on multiple tasks, projects and accounts in a cross-functional environment, fully aware of timelines and deadlines associated with each campaign, project or other deliverable; Experience using a project management system i.e. Monday.com, Planner, Astana preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of integrated marketing tactics, corporate communication and media relations; 
    • Effective communication and organisational skills;
    • Self-aware and open to a constructive ‘360’ feedback;
